What is a Wildlife Corridor? And why does it matter?
The term wildlife corridor, also known as a green corridor or habitat corridor, describes a group of adjacent areas that are designated for growing native plants. The concept of wildlife corridors is based on the ecological principle of the connectedness of all living things: While individual native plant gardens nourish both the soil where they're planted and the animals that depend on them, a "corridor" of these gardens substantially increases their positive impact and provides amazing benefits:
